FAQs

  • Do you see anyone who isn't a part of the LGBTQ+ community?

Yes! All genders and sexualities are accepted here. Although most of our clients are LGBTQ+, we welcome straight and/or cisgender clients as long as they’re comfortable working with a queer therapist.

  • How old are your clients?

Majority of our clients are adults (18+), but we are open to working with adolescents after an in-depth consultation.

  • Do you take insurance?

In order to keep mental health services accessible to everyone, we exclusively do cash pay. If the session rate exceeds what you are able to pay, we offer sliding scale rates.

  • What is your style of therapy?

My therapeutic approach will vary from person to person depending on individual need and unique lived experience. I often use a blend of somatic work and mindfulness paired with consent-based, feminist, narrative, trauma-informed, neurodiverse-informed, emotionally focused therapies. I primarily work with adults in individual and group therapy.

  • Where do you do therapy?

At present, we can meet virtually or in nature to do a ‘walk and talk’. We are currently working on finding a physical office to hold regular in-person sessions as well.

  • How frequently to you have sessions?

How often we meet is completely up to you. Therapy doesn’t offer a one sized fits all approach and the amount of time and energy everyone has for therapy is different. We can work together to figure out how often is best for you.
